There’s something inherently refined about a simple "time-only" watch—a refinement that comes from decades of mastering the art of creating different forms for such a fundamental timepiece. And let’s be honest, Patek Philippe probably has the longest track record of anyone, and they've done it better than any other brand out there!
At hand, we have just that—a lovely, classic yellow gold Calatrava with elegant, elongated lugs in a 35mm size, introduced in 1945. The 18k gold case is in great condition, and the lugs make the watch appear larger than its 35mm size.
The lovely dial features elegant applied markers, a fine minute track, and a small running seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock with black enamel printing. No lume is applied to the hands or dial.
We’ve fitted this fine Calatrava with a Bulang & Sons strap, and an 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe pin buckle is fitted. The hand-wound Cal. 12-120 movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
