In 2005 OMEGA introduced the Planet Ocean series, inspired by its rich history in the maritime industry. These modern designs remain true to the brand's dive watch legacy.
This 45.50 mm stainless steel watch is crafted with a ceramised titanium dial, small seconds counter, date window, 60-minute and 12-hour counters, orange ceramic rings on the pushers, unidirectional bezel with a liquid ceramic/Super-LumiNova diving scale, alveol screw-in caseback, and an extendable foldover clasp with diver extension.
This timepiece can endure water depths of up to 600m/2000ft/60 bar with its helium-escape valve present. Demonstrating its superlative quality is the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 9900, viewable through the transparent caseback. Reaching the highest of standards, it has successfully been examined through the 8 tests established by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology.
