As a watch with a rich history, the OMEGA Speedmaster has been worn during all six moon landings. Inspired by the original 1957 design, this special version pays homage to the collection's extensive use in flight.
This brushed stainless steel watch, measuring 40.85 mm, boasts a grained matt finish black dial with a rhodium-coloured outer ring. The hour markers, constructed with white Super-LumiNova blocks, emit a green glow, adding to the watch's professional and sophisticated look.
The watch's cockpit-inspired design features two subdials with opaline centres and brushed bevels. At 3 o'clock, a 60-minute and 12-hour recorder acts as a "burn rate" indicator, with a triangular matte-orange hand and transferred white numerals. At 9 o'clock, a Small Seconds display mimics a target/sight indicator, with a varnished matte-yellow hand and blue artificial horizon.
The time-telling hands have a matt black PVD coating and white Super-LumiNova blocks that emit a green glow. The central chronograph hand features a varnished orange tip shaped like an airplane.
Featuring the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, this Speedmaster Pilot boasts a brushed flat-links steel bracelet equipped with OMEGA's patented screw and pin system. It also comes with a KEVLAR® NATO strap and a travel pouch with a convenient strap-changing tool.
