This watch is a Bremont Bamford Aurora Limited Edition.
Number 111 of 500 limited edition watches, it has a 43mm black DLC-coated stainless steel case, with a luminescent black and green sapphire crystal bezel coloured to evoke the famous Aurora Borealis lights.
Inside the watch is a Bremont BE-93-2AV movement with 50 hours of power-reserve and a GMT function; allowing the wearer to track another time-zone when travelling, conducting international business, or keeping track of relatives living abroad.
The black California-type dial with green indices consists of mixed Arabic and Roman numerals. The name was coined when California-based collectors sought out vintage Rolex Bubblebacks and Panerai divers watches which also had this distinctive pattern.
Further adding to the detail lavished on this watch is the 'sandwich' dial construction, where the green luminous material is recessed from the top of the dial. The case-back is engraved with a Supermarine S6B seaplane, an ancestor of the Spitfire - and a nod to Bremont's aviation inspired design.
