This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 5402 is an exceptionally rare transitional example that was produced between A and B Series watches and does not have a serial number engraved on the outside of the caseback. It is believed as few as 100 transitional 5402s were made, making examples hard to come by, particularly in such sharp, original condition.
